Narra is a hard wood and is an indigenous tree species. It has lower mortality rate compared to other trees and it can easily adapt to different environment.


Our story

Bogon Elementary School is a recipient school of Children’s Forest since 2011. Our school has an expansive area with some vacant area to plant. Our principal decided to join the Green Wave Campaign starting this year through the efforts of OISCA CFP. Today, we planted 150 narra trees at the foot of Mount Banahaw, Sariaya Area with pupils/students, Teachers from different district of Quezon, Volunteers, OTTAA. 65 participants joined the Environmental Education conducted as part of the campaign. On May 22nd, 3 trees were planted at around 10:00 in the morning.
