Our story

Our school, Ramon Magsaysay is a recipient of OISCA-Children’s Forest Program since 1992. We have been participating in the Green Wave Campaign and we really enjoy the activities related to this campaign. The Green Wave tree planting activity organized by OISCA CFP and Magsaysay Elementary School was attended by Barangay (Ward/District) Officials, representatives from Department of Social Welfare & Development, and several youth organization, and representatives from other NGOs in Aborlan, Palawan. The activity started with an Environmental Education session. The highlight of this year’s campaign is the tree planting activity. After tree planting, children and youth were given time to participate in Nature Games. Our school is very happy to participate in this year’s Green Wave Campaign organized together with OISCA CFP. We are very glad to be an avid partner in the implementation of a global tree planting activity. During this year's Green Wave Campaign, a total of 120 mahogany seedlings were planted by the 45 participants. A total of 40 individuals attended the Environmental Education session organized specifically for the Green Wave Campaign. MABUHAY!
