Thanks to Airbus for their support in developing the logo.
The Green Wave welcomes the support of Airbus, one of the world’s major aircraft manufacturers, to help this global biodiversity campaign take off and soar. The partnership will be made official at the Farnborough International Airshow on 16 July.
Thank you to all the enthusiastic students, teachers, youth groups and their supporters who made The Green Wave’s first year a success. On 22 May 2008, students participated from Australia, Canada, Colombia, Ecuador, Germany, India, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Namibia, Nigeria, Paraguay, the Philippines, Russia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Africa, and the United States of America.
With the 2008 Green Wave celebrations winding down, preparations for The Green Wave 2009 campaign are underway. In June, these preparations took us to Stanvanger, Norway for the 2008 Tunza International Children’s Conference on the Environment to launch the beginning of The Green Wave 2009.
